Make sure that the testimonial that has been submitted are specific, this will let you know that the customer has actually used the product or service and knows about it. Generic testimionials will not work and will be rejected by visitors.

Be sure to get permission from the customer - Testimonial Manager makes it easy to do this. Every testimonial submitted is validated by the user! We send out a confirmation e-mail -- sort of like your double opt-in subscription service. This ensures that the testimonial is valid and has been authorized.

Include the customers information, such as their name and location - this lets other visitors know that the product/service works everywhere.
